Pond Fish - Skylark - 22-06-09 I met some fantastic koi the other day - Bow Aquatic Centre up the road, it's also one of our favourite garden centres & where I buy Lupin's food. Some koi were £500 each & these were the centres own - they were so friendly & rather large! RE: Pond Fish - bramble1 - 22-06-09 i love those Emy,koi are expensive have seen some up for sale for a £1000 at an aquatics centre in bolton, they are beautiful,do like my fish though mine are doing very well at the moment RE: Pond Fish - Skylark - 03-06-10 I knew there was a pond fish thread somewhere! These were taken at the same aquatic centre at Bow: RE: Pond Fish - Nell - 04-06-10 Beautiful Koi - I used to have a couple of those but not that big! I really like the golden colour of some of those in the last few RE: Pond Fish - Tawny Owl - 04-06-10 Those are beautiful fish! We have a koi in our pond called Bandit (he is orange with a black mask hence the name) he is my sisters really as we both got one each (mine was silver and called Ghost but jumped out of the pond one day and died). When we were younger we used to go to a garden centre in Fife which had lots of koi but it has since closed down. RE: Pond Fish - granheather - 04-06-10 They are beautiful little critters but the thought of spending all that money on them The folk who live up behind Issy run a large business selling all things ponds and fish, must take a dander up and get some photos of the pond in their garden. Sitting outside with Issy the other day a heron appeared heading for the pond oh dear. |
