The pond is fed from water coming off the woods and fields and the little waterfall is where it is coming from! I find it very peaceful there and just love looking after my friend's cats. Just wish the weather was better for me to enjoy it!

What a lovely place. The pond is amazing. I can see why you find it peaceful. I love the sound of waterfalls.

Thank you for sharing this lovely place with us. Big Grin

They're super LL. What a good idea for a thread. Hope you don't mind me posting some pics of our garden pond I took last week.

Thank you DB. It's a lot of hard work though. Thankfully Dad does most of the pond maintenance.....hehehe Lol

Wow. Beautiful. I hope to get a pond at some point, and will be eagerly waiting for the wildlife to attack it. Hopefully the frogs might find it and we won't have a snail or slug problem then. It will be a fraction of the size of the piccies shown, but it will, hopefully, function for all the wild life that wants to comealong.

If you build it............they will come Lol

Yup, they really will and you'll be amazed at how quickly too. Good luck and don't forget to post some pictures when it's done. In fact, you could show us pictures of the whole project right from the beginning when you start on it. Cool1

great pictures... what lovely ponds - the only thing they lack is a grebe or several.

i'd love a pond... but the downstairs neighbours might object.

hush the shadows in the oak trees, be still the curlew on the moor

What an amazing place ledburylass, and such wonderful pictures. I can see why the last picture is your favourite. The fish are fantastic. I truly envy you having access to such a magical place.

Thank you again for sharing them with us. Big Grin

This is a little pond I found hidden in my friend's garden. So different to the big pond with the fish in it!
